Nicole previously worked with Opening Ceremony as Design Director for 8 years, joined with Carol Lim and Humberto Leon on the re-launch of Kenzo in 2011, and oversaw the design and launch of Tory Sport in 2014 in addition to time at Jason Wu, Jonathan Simkhai and Apiece Apart.
For Fall/Winter 2017, Nicole launched her namesake collection of shoes inspired by her girl friends and community in New York City. Nicole Saldaña footwear is entirely hand made and manufactured in the North of Portugal from Italian materials such as performance nylon, box calf and rubberized leather, velvet, denim, shearling, and suede.
